I trusted, cared and adored her as most clients do but I was wrong to allow myself to trust her as I did/. A Therapist Client relationship is not equal and never will be.. When a therapist is fighting for her career, she will no longer be the kind woman staring at you in session:. She will do anything to destroy you.. She made some choices in my care that were extremely harmful to me?. The handling of her mistakes was the most damaging of all.. She altered my file and destroyed my credibility to appear as a victim during a licensing board complaint.. As a result, I am not the same person. I lost everything because she is a lousy therapist. A therapist should never allow a relationship to get so out of control she has to behave unethically to get out of the mess.

PPAPA is to encourage clients to become informed and protect themselves. One easy thing to do is ask any therapist for a COPY OF YOUR CLIENT FILE. Get it for safe keeping so this little trick does not happen to you.

Few get cited because they are miles ahead of clients in terms of information and belonging to a community that will save their own, Being in the hands of a bad therapist can completely destroy a person. It's all mental fornication. |
